You built something
that works.
There’s a moment when you begin to see it. Customers come back. More people are involved. Decisions come faster, and what used to be manageable in your head now depends on systems, processes and other people.
It’s exciting. It can also get messy quickly. The financial infrastructure that carried the business this far may not be enough for what comes next.
Explr exists to help owners build the financial organization around what they’ve created. Not because every business needs to become enormous, but because the foundation should be strong enough to support its purpose, its people and the life its owner wants to build.

Two sides of the entrepreneurial journey.
Learning from established entrepreneurs
I began my career in banking and worked my way into private banking and private wealth management. That work put me alongside established entrepreneurs as they thought about succession, estate planning and what would happen to what they had spent years building.
It gave me an appreciation for the long view: the systems, decisions and relationships that allow something valuable to endure.
Becoming an entrepreneur myself
Eventually, I left banking to start building something myself. I moved to Singapore and began working alongside founders creating businesses from the ground up.
Through entrepreneurship programs, coaching and Lean Startup methodology, I supported early-stage founders across Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. I experienced another side of entrepreneurship: uncertainty, experimentation, finding customers and making decisions before the path is obvious.
What happens in between
I had seen entrepreneurs thinking about the future of businesses built over decades, and I had worked alongside founders who were just beginning. What interested me increasingly was everything that happens in between.
Once a business starts working, coaching and strategy alone are not enough if the underlying books, reporting and financial workflows cannot support the decisions being made. The people and financial systems around the owner have to grow with the business.
The work that became Explr began in Asia through supporting entrepreneurs and evolved into a Miami-based financial operations and fractional CFO practice. Today, we bring dependable accounting, financial oversight and strategic perspective together to help owners navigate the changing demands of their businesses.
Our work isn’t about making every business bigger. It’s about helping people build businesses that work better, endure uncertainty and support the lives they want to lead.
